Fees

At Kenderdine Park, there are those clients who are receiving rest home subsidy and those who pay privately. These matters are confidential and all residents are treated equally.

Included in Kenderdine Park Fees:

  • Registered nurses on 24/7 
  • Trained health care assistants on 24/7
  • Doctor visits the facility on a weekly basis
  • Activity programmes
  • All meals
  • Laundry (exclusion of dry cleaning)
  • Access to religious personnel
  • Shared phone line and wifi
Additional Services provided at resident cost:

  • Hair Dressing
  • Podiatry
  • Personal contents insurance
  • Non-subsidised medication
  • Alternative Medication
  • Services and specialists such as: dentists, opticians, audiologist, chaplains, dry cleaners, solicitors
  • Extra requested doctor visits outside of entitled services
  • Specialist Medical Services
  • Customised equipment, aids, medical supplies or services not covered by DHB funding.
  • Personal toiletries such as: perfume, talcum powder, make up, aftershave, toothpaste, etc.
  • Toll calls and personal phone lines
  • Private cell phones
  • Shared private bathroom (between two rooms) at an additional $6 per day
