Kenderdine Park is a ground level building with a small second story for mobile residents, which wraps around a large courtyard.
Rooms
We have three designated rest home bedrooms and thirty-two designated private hospital bedrooms.
All rooms are equipped with call bells, hand basins, wardrobes, bedside lighting and pleasant furniture. All rooms have heaters. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with pictures, ornaments, televisions and furniture as space permits. Toilets and showers are in close proximity to all rooms, eight rooms have access to a semi private toilet.
Leisure spaces
There are three lounges onsite for residents to relax in. Classic movies are screened on a weekly basis in the Rose Wing. Sky is available on the Fushia Lounge for the sports lovers. There is also a library with books, games and puzzles. Residents may also bring their knitting or other hobbies to enjoy in public or private spaces.
Garden access is available throughout the facility and there are no steps to contend with. There is a trail that goes around the outside of the facility.
Residents who are capable to go out are encouraged to do so with family and friends. There is a door bell for entry after normal hours. All visitors are asked to sign in.
Parking
There is ample off-street parking for visitors, and a semi-circle driveway for easy drop off and pick up.
Communication
We have a designated incoming call telephone line that is available to all residents. Private lines and toll calls can be purchased at resident’s own cost. The manager is available M-F during business hours, and a nurse is on the premises 24 hours a day. We are able to accomodate the communication needs of families who may live far away or need extra help. Just let us know what you need.
Wifi is available to residents on request at no cost.
Security
CCTV on site to protect both residents and staff at all times.
